What is a carbon footprint?

A carbon footprint is how much carbon something has emitted from its start to its finish. For example, a human’s carbon footprint would be how much carbon he/she has emitted from the beginning of their life to the end. A carbon footprint can also be calculated for a time period of a year. We can use a carbon footprint calculator to find out how much carbon that thing has emitted.  The amount of carbon can also be measured in MMT (metric million tons).
